Yeah, I know. But tiny pine trees like to grow in the shade, so I think I'll see if it actually lives to 1 or 2 feet tall, then I'll move it. Although where? I don't really need a big pine tree.
you could prune it like a christmas tree, keep it forever small and pointy and cute. or you could pick some other fanciful shape.
my guess is that it'll live. it has made it this far, through all the vagaries of pollination, seed maturation and distribution, germination, initial growth, etc., and it looks pretty happy.

it's so cute! you might have to move it, though. trees too close to house = bad.
